Description: The Plantation Bay WWTP treatment plant’s treatment process equipment is at the end of its useful life and requires replacement. The Phase II Improvements project will provide a new digester, aeration basin and clarifier as the primary biological treatment process. The project will provide Class I reliability and increase plant capacity. In May ‘23, Mack Industries, Incorporated was awarded the extended aeration basin and equipment construction and installation. Mack’s construction contract does not include civil, site, mechanical piping outside the aeration basin and all electrical. This trade work will be bid as a separate project. The extended aeration basin will be substantially complete on or about September ‘24.
