FGUA Community Services Representative David Ishaq volunteered as a judge at this year’s Pasco Science and Engineering Showcase

Ishaq, D and Showcase

Each year, the District School Board of Pasco County hosts the Pasco Science and Engineering Showcase.  This science fair event is a deeply enriching experience for every student, regardless of prior experience. On Saturday, February 10th elementary and secondary school students were invited to showcase their research projects at the Angeline Academy of Innovation in Land O’ Lakes.

FGUA Community Services Representative David Ishaq volunteered as a judge at this year’s showcase. Mr. Ishaq shared, “These students are starting at a young age to help design, innovate, and change our lives and the world for the better. I was thrilled to witness these students explain their research with confidence and intellect, which made it even more difficult for me to judge and choose the best project. It was remarkable to walk the room and see how many projects reflected on keeping our waters clean and unpolluted, and to maintain a viable and healthy environment in our water life.”

Congratulations to all the students that participated and good luck to the students that will make to the next level at States and then to the international level.
