The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory for the FGUA River Grove System has been rescinded.

All biological testing samples were negative and therefore you may resume water usage as normal. The samples were analyzed by a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory that confirmed the drinking water is safe to drink.

The FGUA would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during this time and thank you for your patience during the precautionary boil water advisory period. We appreciate your assistance in notifying your neighbors that the precautionary boil water notice advisory is no longer in effect.

Friday, March 8th, 2024:

The FGUA experienced a loss of pressure on Friday, March 8th, 2024 due to an issue with the interconnect established with the Putnam East Regional Water System.

Therefore, as a precaution, upon return of water service, we advise that all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Please be assured that we are doing all we can to rescind this notice as soon as possible.
